Summon

A keyword and card mechanic automatically moving a card to a player’s side of the board.

A card is most commonly summoned to the board immediately after it was Spawned as a result of another card’s ability, such as Arachas Drones Spawned by Arachas Behemoth. However, there are also cards that can be Summoned from the graveyard or from the deck, such as Cerys an Craite. When a card is Summoned, it is not considered to be played, which means Deploy abilities on that card will not trigger.
