Discard

A keyword and mechanic that moves a card from a player’s hand to the graveyard.

Discarding a card from a player’s hand to the graveyard may be done manually or as an effect of the Discard keyword. Discarding a card due to the keyword may trigger additional abilities, such as that of Tuirseach Skirmisher. Discarding manually will not trigger these abilities. Neither discarding manually nor by using the keyword will end the player’s turn. The Discard keyword is near-exclusive to the Skellige faction.
