Santtu2x
Santeri PaananenSanttu2x is a 22-year-old economics student from Finland. He first started Gwent during the closed beta, but only started playing at a competitive level in early 2018. While he has reached some good ladder finishes, Santtu2x is at his strongest in a tournament environment. In addition to winning many online tournaments, his achievements include placing 2nd in European Gwent Cup LAN event and reaching finals in Gwent Open #7 qualifiers. What is still missing is an appearance in an official Gwent Masters tournament, which he will seek to achieve in Gwent Masters season 2.

JoshWitcher760
Joshua WitcherJoshua Witcher was first introduced to the world of CCGs with YuGiOh when he was around 6 or 7, though after a few years the interest fell off for quite some time. When he just started college, he discovered the world of the Witcher 3, which had originally drawn his interest because of his last name. Immediately after playing the game, he was smitten with every aspect of it and its world. It was only a matter of time before his interest in CCGs was piqued by Gwent. In 2019 he launched the game for the very first time and has been playing consistently ever since. Josh has also started on a degree in Journalism and Promotional Communication, which he hopes to finish in 2023.

EmpressTeemo
Alice SaundersBeing a card game fan since she first laid her hands on playing cards, EmpressTeemo quickly found her way into TCGs and hasn't stopped playing them in over fifteen years. Her favourite aspect of digital card games is min-maxing the acquisition of cards and being able to constantly upgrade the deck until an optimized version is made. She loves helping players, both new and experienced, and shows this by writing up guides and articles that are easy enough to understand for beginners, while also going in depth enough to be of interest to veteran players. Furthermore, proving that underrated decks can be used in tournament formats is one of her biggest passions. When she's not doing something card game related, she's speedcubing, or studying for her bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

gulox2
Brandon ParkerBrandon 'gulox2' Parker may be a video game player for close to 35 years, but has jumped into the CCG and content creation realm for the first time with Gwent.
A player since open beta, gulox2 (that's 'gulo times two', for accuracy) has played a prodigious amount of Gwent, with Skellige being his faction of choice. At time of writing, he has over 7,500 lifetime wins for the faction of pirates and brigands (making him the de facto and self-proclaimed King of Skellige). In his time away from the Isles, he enjoys other video games, actually getting outside and taking walks, and reading for his monthly book club.

Rowdy

After achieving high ranks in multiple games of the genre like Magic:Arena or Gwent over the years, he arrived at Runeterra searching for the next challenge. Following his competitive ambitions, he joined Team Aretuza to step up his game and fight for a place among the best. When he is not trying to crack the meta for the next tourney, you can find him playing poker or some hardcore strategy games.

Green Cricket

He thrives in tournament environments and is part of Team Aretuza's preparation group for competitive events, analysing past events, theorycrafting and improving lineups, finding the right queue order, and more. He plays Gwent and Artifact while keeping an eye on the further development of Dota Autochess/Underlords.

Since then, he has participated in 4 Gwent Opens (winning one) and 3 Gwent Challengers, and has qualified for the upcoming Gwent World Masters event. His strength as a player lies mostly in analyzing matchups and adapting strategies. Callonetta
Kelly BrantleyCallonetta’s foray into card games was a slow burn. As a submissions editor by day and a gamer by night, she became passionate about The Witcher. This led her to delve into Gwent during Closed Beta as a way to stay attached to the lore, which then blossomed into a near obsession with connecting people who played the game. When she isn’t moonlighting as a butler for her dog, she spends much of her time fostering relationships within card game communities, with a recent passion for Legends of Runeterra at the forefront. Her goal is to bring people closer together who share a love of games and to push content that can aid the casual player. With Team Aretuza, she hopes to continue creating spaces for players to unite, while providing exceptional content to those who love playing card games.

While not without a competitive edge of his own, he has always found great fulfilment in helping others, and so one of his greatest joys in Gwent is helping other players from the very best competitive players to new players playing for the first time.
