Balancing

Adjusting a card's strength to be closer to that of others in the same cardpool.

If a card is too weak or too strong compared to the other cards in the game, its card power, ability, or provision cost can be adjusted via balancing. In this case, the card receives a buff, a nerf, or a complete rework. Additionally, balancing refers to the overall harmony of the cardpool of a game – it can be balanced or imbalanced.
